THE COACHES
WES DAVIS
Wes is a church planter, basketball player and lead pastor of newlife – a people becoming the church movement with campuses across the Greater Seattle area. Launched with 14 people, newlife has grown to five campuses and twice been listed in Outreach Magazine’s 100 Fastest Growing Churches in America.
Wes received his BA in Biblical Literature and Masters in Missional Leadership from Northwest University where he was ASB president, won a National Championship in Men’s Basketball, was named NCCAA Division II Player of the Year, and got his jersey retired. Wes recently earned his Doctoral degree (DMin.) from Southeastern University.
Wes’s greatest joy in ministry is empowering the next wave of young leaders for the mission of God and announcing the good news found in Jesus.
JENNI WALDRON
Jenni is a wife, mom (2 kids; 1 dog), pastor, author, teacher, and an insatiably curious student of God and the world He created. She’s never met a fantasy fiction novel she didn’t love, and she is obsessed with searching for Jesus in the Scriptures so we can find him in our lives.
Jenni’s love for learning and Jesus led her to pursue and receive a Master of Divinity in Biblical Studies from Portland Seminary. She currently leads the teaching team and serves as a co-campus lead at newlife – people becoming the church – the church her family has called home for 18 years.
Jenni firmly believes the local church is God’s PLAN A to bring healing to this world.
DAVID DAY
“Be kind, encouraging, and look for lonely people.”
That’s the motto of David’s life. He’s a connector. There’s nothing he loves more than finding people who do great work in this world and connecting them to others.
He received a bachelor’s in Educational Ministry from Seattle Pacific University, and after more than a decade in youth ministry, David is now a co-campus pastor at newlife – people becoming the church.
David learned most of what he knows about being a dad, friend, and pastor from his Grandad, who faithfully loved his family and Jesus all his life. David’s favorite people are his wife, Melissa, and his kids Sadie, Sam, and Ruby.
